    My style
Style for me is an extension of my personality. I continually question norms. I like something which stands out from the crowd. I have a subtle style, but include a few statement pieces.

    Must-haves

Every man should have a classic pair of jeans and a white shirt for the weekends. A good leather jacket, a well-fitted suit and a pair of loafers are a must for when you want to add a casual touch to your formal look. Lastly, good cologne is a must.

    Prized possession

I love my biking gear. It has been picked from different parts of the world — an ARAI helmet, SIDI boots, KGV motorcycle riding suit, the list goes on.

    Weekend vs weekday

My week days usually see me wearing formals and semi-formal clothes. I prefer to wear smart casuals for the weekends.

    Brand basics

I do not believe in the philosophy of brands. My clothes are an extension of who I am, irrespective of the label it carries on the collar.

    The little things

Every man should own a good pair of shoes and a classic wrist watch.

    Style advice

Everybody should stick to their roots. It doesn’t matter what you wear as long as you are grounded and exude confidence.

    Trend speak

Trend to me is who you are, regardless of what the current waves are. For example, I will not be comfortable wearing bell bottom jeans, whether it is in vogue right now or not.

    Celeb style

Farhan Akhtar is somebody who is casual, chic and in his element. People can relate to him and he makes style effortless. I admire his effortlessness and charisma.
