Andrew Bott Named CFO of FremantleMedia
RTL Group's FremantleMedia on Monday said it has named Andrew Bott CFO, effective in March.
RTL Group’s FremantleMedia on Monday said it has named Andrew Bott CFO, effective in March. Based in London, he will report to CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz and be responsible for all financial reporting and controlling, as well as corporate financial strategy and risk management. He will also provide finance expertise and support for all M&A activity.
Bott will join FremantleMedia, producers of American Idol and America’s Got Talent, from BBC Worldwide where he is currently serving as CFO.
Before that, he worked in New York as CFO for BBC Worldwide’s North American arm where he oversaw finance aspects of the launch and expansion of BBC Worldwide’s L.A.-based production business and the growth of the BBC America network. Bott also previously held positions at Pearson and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
