Williamsburg is going to start smelling like cookies

Got a sweet tooth? The chances are good Schmackary has just the cookie to satisfy it.

The Hell’s Kitchen bakery owned by Zachary Schmahl — which offers more than 45 cookie varieties — is launching an outpost this week in Williamsburg, at 193 Bedford Ave.

The 1,050-square-foot bakery, which will have 18 seats and more in the garden, will offer its most popular favorites, such as maple bacon, funfetti, chocolate pretzel, red velvet and chocolate chip, along with ice cream bars and milkshakes.

In addition, there are specialty cookies each month, with about a dozen different varieties a day. November’s specialties include pumpkin spice, a mix of autumnal spices, cranberries and pecans, topped with maple cream cheese frosting.

In other sweet news, Chelsea’s HARBS is expanding this week with a shop on the Upper East Side, at 1374 Third Ave. near 78th Street. The 1,100-square-foot space has around 40 seats.

Signature cakes include bittersweet green tea mousse and the six-layered mille crêpe. The shop also serves individually brewed cups of coffee from four original blends roasted in its Seattle factory.
