Narrow escape for bus passengers

November 09, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:32 am IST - Bengaluru:

Over 40 passengers travelling in a private bus to Devanahalli had a narrow escape when the bus rammed into a pillar of a flyover in Allasandra near Yelahanka while trying to avoid a car that veered from a petrol pump to the main road on Sunday. Around 10 persons and four men travelling in the car sustained minor injuries when the speeding bus rammed into the pillar.

Owing to the impact of the collision, the bus and the car were completely damaged. Traffic movement on the road was disrupted for some time, before the police reached to the spot and pulled out the vehicles to a roadside and allowed the traffic to move.

The bus was going from City Market to Devanahalli.
