V-C search panel invites applications

The search panel the State Government had constituted to recommend names for the Vice-Chancellorship of the Bharathiar University has asked interested candidates to submit applications.

A release from the university said that the panel having M. Rajaram as coordinator and T. Velusamy and N. Senthamarai as members had asked interested candidates to send their curriculum vitae before November 27.

They could download the relevant forms from the university’s website,

www.b-u.ac.in.

The candidates should not be over 67 years of age, the release said.

They should be distinguished academics holding the post of professor, associate professor or reader in a college or university with a total experience of not less than 10 years.
