Actor Anupam Kher recently organized a march to counter the protests by writers and artistes against the 'rising intolerance' in the country in New Delhi. Anupam was joined by filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, Ashoke Pandit, Priyadarshan, Manoj Joshi, Abhijeet Bhattacharya and writer Madhu Kishwar among others. The actors held banners that read, "India refuses to bow down", "India marches ahead", and "Stop intellectual intolerance".
