When a ghost comes calling

Vaibhav and Karunakaran play important roles in debutant director Baskar’s Hello Naan Pei Pesuren , produced by Sundar C. Karunakaran says, “I play the role of a doctor, who is consulted by Vaibhav and VTV Ganesh. At that point, the film stops being just a comedy, with horror elements coming in. I can’t tell you if there’s a ghost in the film. You will have to watch the film to know that,” says Karunakaran.

Stepping into Bollywood

Manishaa Shree, whose debut film Ir ukku Aana Illai released a year ago, is now looking forward to her first Hindi release. “Actually, the film is also being made in Tamil as M eendum Vaa Arugil Vaa with a different female lead (Sara Shetty). Santhosh Prathap is the hero in both Tamil and Hindi. I am also shooting now for Veera Sivaji , in which I play a bubbly and humorous girl,” says Manishaa.

Music for 11 directors

Sudeep Swaroop, who has composed for X: Past is Present , the unique Hindi film made by 11 directors, is quite thrilled about being part of the project. “I have also sung two of the five songs,” he says. Talking about how he landed the project, Sudeep says, “I had composed music for Sudhish Kamath’s debut film, Good Night Good Morning and as he is one of the 11 directors, I was roped in.” X: Past is Present is scheduled for release on November 20.
