F1 boss satisfied with Interlagos revamp

Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone on Wednesday gave his seal of approval to Brazil's revamped Interlagos Grand Prix circuit. 

   But the track's 65-million-US-dollar revamp won't be fully ready in time for this year's race on Nov. 15, according to local officials. Work on new pit garages will not be completed until next year. 

   The venue's paddock area has been expanded while pit lane has also been refurbished, meeting the demands of teams and F1 organizers. 

   "I am satisfied, but I'm not surprised," quoted Ecclestone as saying by the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper. "This was promised for 2014." 

   Ecclestone took part in an inspection of the Interlagos circuit with other F1 officials on Wednesday.  Endi
