No students from Yanam compete

November 05, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:39 am IST - PUDUCHERRY:

Students from Yanam, which is one of the enclaves of the Union Territory, were conspicuous by their absence.

Organisers put this down to a lack of interest, and hope this will be rectified next year.

Organisers have also asked for increased participation of government schools and have asked the government to encourage their participation.

The UT has done well in the NCSC with one of the projects from Puducherry being selected among the 20 Best Outstanding Projects at the National level last year, and another team from Mahe winning the Best Poster Presentation in the State category.
