Sonu, Amyra heat it up in Kerala...
Singer Sonu Nigam and music baron Bhushan Kumar’s last album together was Chanda Ki Doli in 2005. A year later, they collaborated on the title track of the film, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye.

After that there were no partnerships for a decade. In fact, they had a fall-out in 2013 over the copyright issue. Recently, the duo decided to put their creative differences behind them and come together for a single.

“Aa Bhi Jaa” is penned by Manoj Muntashir, and composed by Jeet Ganguli. The video features Sonu and Amyra Dastur, last seen in Vikram Bhatt’s thriller, Mr. X. It has been directed by Anubhav Sinha and reflects a couple’s journey from friendship to love.

“We shot for three days last month on an exotic island in Kerela. I had earlier directed Sonu in several music videos including “Tu Kab Yeh Janegi” and “Deewana”. He has done such a fantastic job that I have strongly urged him to take up more acting offers,” says Anubhav who is equally impressed with “surprise package” Amyra.

Bhushan and Nigam had joined hands in the past to deliver chart-toppers like “Yaad”, “Jaan” and “Ab Mujhe Raat Din”, and Kumar is delighted to be working with the 42-year-old singer again. “He was associated with my father’s (Gulshan Kumar) projects as well, and his soothing voice has added magic to this number” he says, adding that Anubhav has given his first hit film, Tum Bin, for his company.
