Konkan Railway reverts to usual time-table from Nov 1

MANGALURU: With the offset of monsoon, Konkan Railway has reverted to its regular time table from November 1. KRCL has urged passengers travelling on the Konkan Railway route to take note of the same and check timings of trains operating on this route.
The usual time-table was tweaked as a precautionary measure right before the onset of monsoon, taking into account the heavy rainfall, geographical and soil conditions as well as vulnerable sections on Konkan Railway route.This monsoon time-table was operational from June 10 to October 31. Intensive footplate inspections as well as track safety inspections were carried out from time to time during the monsoon for smooth train operations.
