Speaking during a press meet organised by Tharu Kalyankari Shabha at Rautahat on Sunday, leader Lekhi termed the ongoing talks between the agitating Madhesi Morcha and the government as mere drama and added that the government was dragging its feet to address their demands. “We will adopt a different path forming a united front with Madhesi Morcha,” said Lekhi.
Leader Lekhi urged the Madhesi alliance not to be beguiled by the government’s fake talks. “The government is not serious regarding the demands raised by the Madhesi/Tharu movement that has been going for over one and a half month,” he said, “We will not tolerate such dramatic talks that keep us in the dark.”
The agitated Tharu leader accused UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal of working as an honest cadre of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. He also vented his ire at Deputy PM and MJF-L Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar saying that he is a disgrace of the Tharu community.
