Basically from Adoni, a Kannada-speaking area in the neighbouring Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, Ms. Veenakumari, who has now settled in Ballari, has acted in various Kannada dramas, including social, mythological and historical. She has acted wit Subhadramma Mansur, a well-known professional theatre personality and renowned vocalist among others. She has also served in various drama companies.
