“Everyday I Love You,” Box Office Earnings Reached P16 Million on Opening Day

The newest Star Cinema movie flick titled “Everyday I Love You,” featuring the country’s break out love team, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil alongside Gerald Anderson, made a strong debut at the Philippine box office on Wednesday after the movie earned more than P16 million as confirmed by the movie’s producer.

The newest LizQueen movie “Everyday I Love You,” is considerably higher in terms of opening day box office gross income compared to the P12 million debut of their previous movie “Just the Way You Are.”

Star Cinema also confirmed that the P16 million income of Everyday I Love You,” is higher than the debuts of box office hits such as “The Breakup Playlist,” and “The Love Affair,” both movies made P15 million on their debut with the latter eventually grossing more than P300 million.

“Everyday I Love You,” movie tells the story of Ethan (Enrique Gil), a promising young director who was sent to Bacolod to learn more about his craft. During his visit to Negros, he meets Audrey (Liza Soberano), a girl patiently waiting for her lover Tristan (Gerald Anderson) to wake up from coma.

Ethan eventually offers Audrey to star in one of his movie projects, which paved the way for the two to grow closer to each other. The movie “Everyday I Love You,” is directed by veteran director Mae Cruz-Alviar.
