RATES were on-par with northern sales at the Kapunda off-shears on Monday, with 1.5-year-old ewes topping at $150.
The yarding consisted of 3100 wether lambs, young ewes, breeding ewes and rams.
Landmark Beaton Agencies' Greg Beaton said he was pleased with how the sale went.
"The sale was good from start to finish, and was at least comparable to the northern sales," he said.
"There was a good spread of buyers, including regular bidders who buy the same sheep, year-in and year-out.
"Considering the season, the sheep were in really good condition."
The sale kicked off with wether lambs, with the first pen making the highest price.

Topping the 5.5yo section was RA Dunstan, with 143 Lines Gum Hill-blood ewes making $101.
