It was a dream come true for young diabetic patient Sirigiri Niharika as she could meet her idol Smita Sabharwal, former Collector of Karimnagar district and currently working in the CMO.

Following a request made to ‘Make A Wish Foundation’ to meet the former Collector and present CMO secretary, the foundation had made arrangements for meeting Smita Sabharwal at Niharika’s house in Pegadapalli mandal on Tuesday.

Smita Sabharwal along another secretary Priyanka Verghese, Jagtial Sub Collector Krishna Bhaskar and others met Niharika at her residence in the presence of her family members. Niharika was so cheerful that she could meet her dream officer and interact with her.

On this occasion, Smita presented new clothes to Niharika and also a Holy Bible. Niharika studied up to Intermediate and discontinued her education because of poverty. Smita Sabharwal promised to provide all assistance from the government for her higher education and informed her to aim for civil services.

She also promised her a visit to all important places in Hyderabad city. ZPTC member G Vasantha, MPP K Sathaiah, Make a Wish foundation project coordinator Pushpa Jain and other were also present.
