13-year-old boy rapes 4-year-old girl in Chhattisgarh's Korba disrict

KORBA: A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a minor boy in Manikpur region of Chhattisgarh's Korba district, following which the accused was arrested on Monday.
As per the complaint lodged by the victim's family, the 13-year-old accused, who was the girl's neighbour, lured her on the pretext of giving her chocolate while she was watching a devotional performance in their locality on Sunday night, City Kotwali police station SHO Yadumani Sidar said.He then raped her, Sidar added.
When the victim's mother found injuries on the girl's private parts, the family approached police. The accused was booked under relevant sections of IPC and under the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and was arrested.
