Body of a senior citizen was found in an unreserved coach of a train

A man, aged about 65 years, was found dead in an unreserved coach of Coimbatore-Nagercoil Passenger train that reached here on Friday night.

According to Government Railway Police, conservancy staff found the body while cleaning the bogies at the railway yard here around 10 p.m. and alerted the police. The deceased was wearing a blue colour lungi and khaki shirt and had tattoos all over his body.

The police sent the body to Kanyakumari Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem. The police are investigating.
