Couple commits suicide near Palanpur's Himmatnagar

PALANPUR: A man and his wife ended their lives by consuming poison in Gorwada village, some nine km from Himmatnagar, on Friday.
Suryaba Rehwar (40) consumed some tablets at her house. She was rushed to Himmatnagar Civil Hospital but was declared brought dead. Later, he husband Ranjeetsinh also consumed the same tablets and died, said police sub-inspector CV Nayak
Preliminary investigation suggested that the couple had strained relationship since few years and this may have led them to take the extreme step.
The couple has two sons and a daughter. The youngest son studies in class XI while the elder siblings are in the college.
Rehwar was the secretary of milk collecting centre in the village.
