PETALING JAYA: Seasoned local golfers Shaaban Hussin and Sukree Othman gave it their best shot, but it was Thailand’s Poom Saksansin who seized the second-round lead at the PGM Kinrara Championship.

The 22-year-old Poom, a member of Thailand’s SEA Games gold medal-winning team, carded a second consecutive three-under 67 for a two-day total of six-under 134 to stay head of the Malaysian duo by a stroke at the Kinrara Golf Club.
