A school bus driver who allegedly tried to sexually harass a LKG student was arrested in Kochi, Kerala on Monday, 19 October. The driver, Sajeevan, who hails from Thrippunithura, tried to assault the five-year-old girl on the way back to her home in the school bus, reports said.

The incident was reported from Thevara, Kochi.

Sajeevan is expected to be produced in the court soon.

The report comes just days after two toddlers --aged two-and-a-half and five -- were allegedly gang-raped in India's capital city, Delhi.

One girl was abducted and raped while attending a Ramlila event with her grandmother and she was later spotted at a park bleeding profusely.

The other kid was reportedly taken by a neighbour to his house in east Delhi's Anand Vihar area, where she was allegedly gang-raped.

In another report, a visually-impaired minor girl was also allegedly raped by a 50-year-old man in Sonari area of Sivasagar district, Assam on 13 October.
