Meghan Edmonds Defends ‘RHOC’ Co-Star Shannon Beador In Her Bravo Blog: Vicki Gunvalson ‘Has Some Nerve’

Meghan Edmonds and her co-stars were seen wrapping up the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County last night during the finale white party, and on the show, Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador engaged in an unexpected showdown after Beador learned Gunvalson had spread news of her husband David’s affair.

While chatting with Gunvalson’s brother and his girlfriend, Rhonda, Beador was confronted by Rhonda, who dissed her for demanding Gunvalson’s boyfriend show proof of his stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis when Gunvalson didn’t request to see proof of David’s affair. According to Rhonda, Beador should have been supportive of Gunvalson and her then-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, instead of raising more questions about his diagnosis.

In response to Rhonda’s statement, Beador immediately confronted Gunvalson, while Meghan Edmonds and the rest of her co-stars looked on, grabbing her by the arm and sarcastically telling her that she was a “great friend” for gossiping about her marital troubles with David. At the time, Gunvalson seemed stunned by Beador’s reaction, and later explained in a confessional that she had only told Rhonda about David’s affair because she knew the couple, and because Beador had already told other members of the cast.

Gunvalson and Beador also came to blows when Gunvalson accused Beador of ignoring her phone calls for weeks, while Beador expressed her frustration in being dragged into Ayers’ “fake cancer” storyline, which she alleged didn’t make any sense.

In her October 12 Bravo TV blog, Meghan Edmonds, who has been vocal about her belief that Ayers is, in fact, faking cancer, weighed in on the end of the two women’s friendship.

“Vicki has some nerve to be so offended by Shannon. Vicki didn’t seem to care that her brother and Rhonda ganged up on Shannon about her marriage, yet Vicki claims Shannon is being the bad friend? How and why did Shannon’s marriage even get involved in this?! Why does Vicki think Shannon got what she deserved? What is she even talking about? There are just so many confusing, unanswered questions. And how ironic that Vicki asked Rhonda how Shannon’s marriage got involved in this, when I’m still wondering the same thing — how did MY marriage get involved when I was asking Vicki about Brooks at the sex party? Pot meet kettle.”

Meghan Edmonds has made it clear that she does not like Vicki Gunvalson since she joined the show, and when it comes to her ex-boyfriend’s health, she has surrounded her storyline on the show with allegations against him. Even in the press and on Twitter, Meghan Edmonds appears to be consumed with what she claims is bringing Ayers to justice for his alleged lies.

Earlier this season, Meghan Edmonds called a doctor who was allegedly treating Ayers, and claimed to have been informed that the doctor didn’t treat cancer. Meghan Edmonds then contacted Ayers’ ex-girlfriend, who reportedly told her that Ayers had faked cancer in the past.

Following her allegations and actions against Ayers, Gunvalson’s ex-boyfriend sent a letter of cease and desist to Meghan Edmonds, requesting she stop commenting on his health and issue a public apology for her prior statements. In response, Meghan Edmonds has refused his request.

For more Meghan Edmonds, as well as the rest of the cast, be sure to tune into The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 reunion, starting next Monday night, October 19, at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
