President Group of Hotels started its couple entertainment club Melody Fusion while celebrating its silver jubilee on October 3. This mega event, organized at the lush green lawns of Hotel President Park, also announced a new, unique scheme of issuing privilege cards of President Group of Hotels to patrons. Under this scheme, members will not only get various benefits at the three local hotels of the group, but also get to enjoy quarterly mega events organized by Melody Fusion along with different food festivals boasting of Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Punjabi, South Indian, Rajasthani and Maharshtrian cuisine among others.

This inaugural event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Dr DP Lokwani, Vice Chancellor of Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University. This was followed by a welcome speech given by Rajendra Mehta, chairman of the group. Floral bouquets too were presented by directors of the group Shobha and Shanu Mehta. The colourful performances for the evening were beautifully woven together by the anchor Resham and featured artistes of national and international fame. Yogeshwari Mistri, winner of India’s Got Talent 2015 and 2012 winners Sonia and Diwakar performed with Ankita at the do. Singer Jasleen Mathru teamed up to perform with dancers of JP Group from Mumbai. In addition to these dance moves, viewers were enthralled by a shadow act by Prahlad Acharya from Bengaluru.
Another major highlight of the event was comedian Jitesh Chawla’s act as Gutthi, which tickled the audience’s funny bone. The event was followed by a Gujarati food festival with a delicious spread of more than 40 dishes by Swati Group from Mumbai. A concluding vote of thanks was given by Ankit Mehta, managing director of the President Group of Hotels.
The main benefit offered to holders of the privilege card include a discount of 30% on rooms, 15% on restaurant bills, two-nights free stay at any of the unit of the group, a lucky draw for holiday packages at hill stations and special rates for parties and marriage bookings. More than 300 couples have already registered for the offer and the target of the group is to reach out to as many as 400 to 500 couple members. This scheme of the hotel privilege card along with a membership of Melody Fusion is beneficial for company executives who come to Indore from all parts of the country but aren’t members of any such club in the city.
