Honda CBR500R Facelift To Make It Aggressive & Sporty
Honda Motorcycles has provided several countries with their entry level CBR models. The Honda CBR250R, CBR300R and CBR500R all three motorcycles cater to various street conditions in numerous markets.
The CBR500R is their only twin-cylinder engine in Honda's range of entry level CBR motorcycles. Honda will be restyling this motorcycle and will be offering it in markets where it is already available.
Honda CBR500R will be revealed on 15th of October 2015 at American International Motorcycle Expo. It is an exclusive motor show only for two-wheelers and will be held in Orlando, Florida.
In this facelift, Honda designers will provide a more aggressive and sporty design. The front fascia will look closer to bigger CBR models and will LED dual headlamps for an impressive front look.
Exhaust will also be redesigned for better exhaust note. Engineers have focussed on centralising the mass of their muffler. The exhaust system will be much shorter compared to its predecessor.
Honda will be providing preload adjustment system for the front suspension. CBR500R will also get a larger fuel tank for longer rides with lesser refuel intervals. It also offers a hinged fuel cap for ease of refuelling.
Facelifted CBR500R will go on sale in several markets by early 2016. There is a small possibility that the Japanese manufacturer could offer this updated model for Indian markets directly.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India recently launched their CBR650F motorcycle. This was their very first supersport motorcycle to be officially offered in the country. It is doing extremely well and is expected to achieve its sales goals with relative ease.
