With Lois Lane outing Superman's Clark Kent identity to the world and Perry White firing him from the Daily Planet, it makes sense that he would try to disappear by adopting a new human persona. In today's issue, we learned that new persona is Archie Clayton, towel delivery man for Swan Laundry. Yup, from acclaimed reporter to truck driver, just like that.

We also learned that he's been living in a trailer on the edge of the Talladega National Forest, and that he uses a WayneTech "light refractor" device to distort his face just enough so people can't recognize him. Beats a pair of glasses, that's for sure.

Of course, the story wouldn't be very interesting if he just laid low the whole time, and we see that he chose Archie's profession in order to infiltrate a facility linked to the villain Wrath, who he's been battling in the current arc.

He winds up ripping off his uniform and diving into a fight, so it's unclear if he has abandoned the new identity altogether, or if he will adopt it once more once the action settles down.
