Gingham fever

Spring Summer 2016 lines are out and we can't help but notice that how designers from New York to Paris have reinterpreted the classic in their own distinctive handwriting. Victoria Beckham sent it out in relaxed-fit dresses in duchess satin, Stella McCartney sent out a line of activewear in stripes and checks paired with athletic sandals.

Bill Gaytten at John Galliano presented a pantsuit in gingham layered with a long coat. Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel played with them in 70s leisure jackets evoking a luxe jet.
