Planning to head for a safari at the Sanjay Gandhi National Park to be a part of the ongoing Wildlife Week celebrations? Or keen to go on an adventure trip in the jungles this holiday season? Here’s a fashion rulebook you should refer to!
- Polarised glasses help block harmful rays and cut the glare and haze for you to see clearly.
- Be prepared with wind cheaters during monsoons.

- As bright colours and busy patterns stand out, opt for neutral colours that blend in the surroundings. Shades of greens, browns and khakis fit the bill. Similarly, also avoid dark colours like black and blue as it attracts flies and bugs. Also, avoid white since it is likely to get soiled easily.
- Jeans work if you are travelling in winter; besides comfort, it also adds some style to your rugged look. For comfort, cargos are a great option; with plenty of pockets, it is easier to move around with things at hand. If you don’t want the pants to be too baggy, you can opt for the slim fit variant.
- The most popular accessory, a safari hat works as a shield from the sun as you wait for your subject. Girls can wrap a scarf around their necks and around their faces for the same.

- If you are visiting a cold region, make sure to layer your clothing. A light or fleece jacket, hoodie might be your choice. On the other hand, if you are going to a warm place, go for light-weight, breathable fabrics. Long-sleeved, high-collared t-shirts help keep sun off your arms and neck.
- For footwear, carry a pair of trainers and flip flops to comfortably move around. To add a hint of glam, go for a pair of cute ankle boots with little or no heels.
