Saahil Chadha’s international film 'Utopia' enters Oscar race

Actor Saahil Chadha, who was seen in films like Baghbanand Thodi Life Thoda Magic, is thrilled that his international film,Utopia, is garnering acclaim and awards on the international circuit.

The British-Iranian co-production is also an entrant for the 88th Academy Awards in the Best Film in a Foreign Language category. Helmed by Iranian filmmaker Hassan Nazer, it revolves around three individuals, who, affected with growing violence in different parts of the world, want to overcome their challenges and transform it into a better place, ‘a perfect world’, which explains the film’s title, Utopia.Besides Scotland and Afghanistan, a portion of the movie was also shot in picturesque locales of Rajasthan.
