Wolves winger James Henry says that owner Steve Morgan's decision to sell the Championship club will have no effect on the dressing room.

Morgan made his announcement on 28 September - just four days after Henry, 26, had signed a new two-year deal.

But Henry admits: "We still have to go out there. We're getting paid. We're still playing for this great club.

"We have to keep playing to the best of our ability and focus on our own goals, to get to the top six," he told BBC WM.

Henry into his third year with Wolves
James Henry has just celebrated the second anniversary of his arrival at Molineux, having signed initially on loan in October 2013 from Millwall, where he first played under Kenny Jackett.

After having to compete for his place with Rajiv Van La Parra last season, Henry has been almost an ever present this term.

"I'm really enjoying my football," he added. "I've sorted all my contract stuff out now, so I've got total licence to keep going out there, keep playing well, keep that shirt and make sure I'm in the starting XI every week."

He has proved a model of consistency in a Wolves side that have suddenly found their feet going into the latest international break with successive 3-0 wins.

Wolves, who missed out on a play-off place under Jackett only on goal difference last season, now lie ninth in the Championship table, just five points adrift of an automatic promotion place.
