Emirates’ Icon Collection
With the unveiling of the airline’s commercial featuring Jennifer Aniston, it’s about time the Emirates Store also got a stylish new update. And are these pieces cute, or what? The new apparel, home and travel range was designed in collaboration with Dubai-based British artist and fashion illustrator Hatty Pedder, bringing an element of high style to the classic Emirates cabin crew imagery. Items include pyjamas, t-shirts and sweatshirts; homewares such as this trinket holder and mug, and travel items such as bags and luggage (arriving on the site by the end of this month, we’re told). “Working with Emirates to create the Icon Collection was a fantastic opportunity to design something contemporary and fresh underpinned by a fashion element that perfectly reflects the glamour of the Emirates crew, which really inspired me,” says Pedder. This weekend, don’t miss En Vogue by AJK’s eighth event with designs by Anushree Reddy, Masaba Gupta, Arpita Mehta, Yogesh Chaudhary, Kunal Anil Tanna, Sonali Gupta, Preeti Singhal and Hema Kaul; Masaba Gupta, Mehta, Sonali Gupta, Chaudhary, Reddy and Kaul will be at the event to meet their customers. Obaigi, a medispa, has opened a villa location in Jumeirah, opposite Box Park, with certified dermatologists offering modern treatments such as Fractional Radio Frequency (lifting and rejuvenating for face, neck, decolletage and hands) as well as facials and VelaShape.
