Radhika Apte Is All Set To Explore Thrillers With The Upcoming 'Phobia', And It's Safe To Say We're All Excited

Radhika Apte pushes her limits with every film she does. Next up under her sleeve is a psychological thriller called Phobia. And yes, the dusky siren is nothing short of excited about taking up her first project in this genre.

Ragini MMS director Pawan Kriplani has been roped in for the project, and the film's producers feel only Radhika can do justice to the role.

"Radhika has proved her acting prowess time and again with her previous films. I am sure she will be able to deliver another enthralling performance in this genre, which is also a first for me. Pawan has earlier directed thrillers with expertise and the audience can look forward to a taut, edgy thriller."

All this, while audiences and critics are yet to get over the actress's stunning performance in Manjhi: The Mountain Man and short film Ahalya. Meanwhile, she also reprised the role of Aishwarya Rai in Anurag Basu's television series of the film Chokher Bali, which was a part of the show on Rabindranath Tagore's short stories.
