A Hyderabadi black tie do for a cause

A bunch of eminent folks from the social circuit got together to participate in a charity cocktail dinner held at an upscale convention centre in the city. The ladies looked great in evening gowns and the men turned up smartly attired in tuxedoes. Ace shuttler Pullela Gopichand looked dapper in his bluish-grey two-piece suit. There were choices aplenty when it came to the cuisines available at the do and the food came from several posh restaurants in the city — South Indian, North Indian and even street food from all corners of the world were served at the do.The proceeds of the evening would be directed towards bettering the standards of blackboards, benches, science labs and teaching facilities in and around the government schools in and around Hyderabad.
