Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan warned on Tuesday he will expel party MPs who oppose Conflict of Interest Bill (CoI) 2014 in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Assembly.

“Any PTI MP in K-P Assembly who opposes Conflict of Interest Bill, which is part of PTI's commitment to the nation, has no place in the party,” Imran said in one of his tweets.

The PTI chief vowed to take strict action against those MPs belonging to his party who were trying to ‘scuttle’ the bill. Imran said the party would rather sit on the opposition benches in K-P Assembly than ‘reneging’ on its core commitments to the nation.

Further, criticising the federal government, Imran alleged Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to be ‘directly involved’ in the Nandipur scam and Model Town tragedy. “The "investigation" into the Nandipur scam is going to be a cover-up like Model Town inquiry,” claimed the PTI leader.

Vowing to thwart every attempt of the federal government aimed at looting people’s money, Imran said another scam of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has been exposed as the Supreme Court of Pakistan has taken up the CDA Lahore’s plan to convert National Agricultural Research Centre (Narc) land into lucrative housing scheme.

“Shameful how instead of boosting agriculture research to improve agriculture sector, PML-N government trying to sell off agriculture research land to housing scheme,” the PTI chairman added.

bilal | 8 years ago | Reply @adnan .. looks like we ticked you the wrong way or perhaps that is just your nature ;). Yes the person awarded ticket is so corrupt and yet the RULING status quo parties ruling for the past 7 consecutive years , have still not taken a single action against him . Why ? But lets 'PRETEND' ignorance about this. This is all what you people can do. Please also use the word 'burger' for us, if this helps you sleep at night !
