More injury questions arose than were answered last Saturday as Penn State beat Army 20-14.

Running backs Akeel Lynch and Saquon Barkley did not play after suffering knee and ankle injuries, respectively, a week earlier against San Diego State.

Neither did safety Marcus Allen, who was identified during the week as a player who was expected to return from an injury that prevented him from finishing the game against the Aztecs.

Allen's running mate at safety, Jordan Lucas, did suit up and was credited with eight tackles. Troy Apke started in place of Allen.

Per his usual policy, coach James Franklin did not identify who may or may not be ready to go when the Nittany Lions play host to Indiana this weekend.

Per StateCollege.com, center Angelo Mangiro and punter Chris Gulla joined the list of injured players during the Army game with both finishing the game out of the lineup.
