Singh Is Bliing, which stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead, has received largely mixed reviews. The film sees Lara Dutta back on the big screen after a gap of two years. The film follows the story of a happy-go-lucky Raftaar Singh, who is entrusted the task of taking care of Sara (Amy Jackson), when the latter arrives in India to look for her mother. The action comedy has been strong at the box office ever since it hit the screens. The film is expected to cross the Rs 100-crore mark in India in this week.

Apart from Singh Is Bliing, the October 2 week saw the Irrfan and Konkona Sensharma-starrer Talvar in theatres.
