Eight Glorious Pictures Of Autumnal Beauty In Yorkshire

THE locals call it God’s Own County – and one native Yorkshireman is doing his best to make everyone else see why.

Amateur photographer David Zdanowicz, 32, hails from Bradford and has made his home county the focus of a series of images capturing the beauty of autumn in Britain.

What Keats called the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is exemplified in these photographs of scenery and landmarks from around Yorkshire.

Masham

From Emley Moor, to the moors at Masham and the National Trust’s Gibson Mill, Zdanowicz has sought out typical Yorkshire scenes that best illustrate its unrivalled natural beauty.

Despite being relatively new to photography, Zdanowicz has already won a BBC Countryfile award and his pictures have been published internationally by newspapers and magazines. He has also provided images to broadcast corporations including Sky for use in weather presentations.

Scenes around Bradford

He says he loves photography and is inspired by his surroundings to take photographs and share them with people.

He said: ‘As a Yorkshire Man I am fortunate enough to be around some of the greatest landscapes in the UK. Most of my photography is set in and around Yorkshire.’

He has amassed more than 70,000 followers across different social media networks. He explained that whilst he is happy to be successful, his only desire is to make people stop and think about the scenery he photographs: 'I am mainly inspired by my desire to keep improving and to capture those special landscapes that make people think “wow”.’
