���Subodh���s ability as a director came for test, when he showed the confidence in singer & musician Shankar Mahadevan, to play the role of Pandit Bhanushankar. But, Subodh wanted the expressions and lip movements to match with the song perfectly. And, this was possible, only if he had opted for a singer, who could sing classical song, through his heart,��� added the website.
The musical film is a classic, based on the popular sangeet natak ���Katyar Kaljat Ghusali��� and stars Sachin Pilgaonkar, Subodh Bhave, Amruta Khanvilkar, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Sakshi Tanwar and Shankar Mahadevan in important roles.
