Actress Lee Young-ae, Korea's top-paid advertising model along with actress Jun Ji-hyun, features on the covers of two elegant fashion magazines this month.
Lee, who earns more than 100 million won ($85,000) per advertisement, features in JLOOK and Noblesse.
On the JLOOK cover, the hallyu star from MBC's global hit TV series"Daejanggeum" or "Jewel in the Palace" (2003~2004), wears bright dresses and has long hair. On Noblesse, she has short hair and wears a black turtleneck.
Lee, 44, who has a son and a daughter, made headlines in September with photos of her rehearsing for her upcoming TV series "Saimdang, the Herstory" scheduled for next year.
The series depicts the historical figure Sin Saimdang (1504-1551), a painter from the Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910), who is better known as the mother of Confucian scholar Lee Yul-gok (1536~1584).
