Hyderabad: A 68-year-old Haj pilgrim, Syed Sadath Ahmed, a retired head master of Sanga Reddy town in Medak district passed away in a hospital at Mecca late on Friday night.
According to the Telangana Haj Committee, he had gone on pilgrimage along with his wife Khadija Sadath on September 4, and was scheduled to return on October 16. He reportedly fell ill at the sacred Mosque in Mecca and was shifted to the hospital where breathed last.
