Chameleon rides the Megaboard at Namboole just like Bolt at Heathrow!

Both are ‘big celebrities’ in their own right. Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt needs no introduction. He is officially the fastest man on this planet. For Chameleone, he is arguably the richest, best and most popular musician in Uganda. The two love showbiz. It is their business. But first they must perform. When Bolt silenced all Doubting Thomases about his ability to defend his 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay titles last month, the 29-year-old, while celebrating his 200m triumph, was unfortunately knocked flying by a Chinese broadcaster struggling to control his Segway. Both escaped serious injury and pleasantries were exchanged. Then Bolt showed the incident was way past him by taking to the Megaboard on arrival in London for a short holiday. Chameleone, too, had the massive crowd at the Masaza Cup final at Namboole Stadium last Saturday, feeding from his palm. The Valu Valu singer arrived on Megaboard with Leone Island crew members including Guvnor Ace running after him like bodyguards would do. The packed-to-the-rafters Namboole were wowed by their superstar’s riding skills. At the end of the evening, Chameleone was a double winner, as his county, Ssingo mauled Buddu 5-0.
