In the promo for the episode, it seems that Brian ended up building a huge Lego model and his ideas about the case are not going over so well. The FBI tackles a case that included a retired agent.

In the preceding episode, it began with Brian as he talked about how it is to be working for the FBI. Eddie has been giving him immunity shots. He had two guards whom he called Mike and Ike. He told his family that he was now working with the FBI. Instead of an actual badge and gun, he got a stapler and tape.

Boyle and Rebecca were going to investigate the accidental death of a journalist named Stephen Fisher. Brian was being asked to learn Farsi. He popped the pill and he learned the language in a few hours. He looked up the dead journalist and he discovered a bumper sticker that was covered up.

Brian figured out that there was a bomb. He left the office without permission much to the consternation of the boss. Brian went to see his father at the hospital. He then wondered why Eddie wanted him to work at the FBI office and so he had Googled Eddie and NZT.

Brian figured out who they were looking for and the FBI got him. Brian earned himself a lanyard and a laminate. His dad knew about the drug that he was taking. Brian considered telling his dad everything.
