Foreign Affairs Minister Francine Baron said Dominica remains committed to the development of the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) DOCK organization.

She made that statement while delivering an address at the launch Ceremony to formally establish the SIDS DOCK held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Wednesday.

“Dominica remains committed to the development of this SIDS organization,” Baron said. “We will continue to serve in the role as chair of the steering committee and see the inaugural assembly of SIDS DOCK to bring the organization into fully operational mode.”

According to her, the historic establishment of SIDS sustainable energy intergovernmental organization is the manifestation of the commitment of small island developing states, “to take action to improve the lives of our people.”

She said also that SIDS DOCK presents new hope for SIDS in the transformation of their energy sector.

“The generation of energy from our local resources will allow us to reduce imports of carbon based fuels and to free up financial resources for economic and social development,” she explained.

On behalf of the government of Dominica she thanked all partners for their contribution to the development of SIDS DOCK, “and to the development of our renewable energy, an energy efficiency development agenda.”

“Now that we have created our organization to address our issues we much commit ourselves to work towards the realization of its full potential,” she added. “Let us work with our partners to make a better life for our people.”

Meantime the minister expressed gratitude to the regional and international countries who assisted Dominica following the passage of Tropical Storm Erika.

“I also wish to express our appreciation for the solidarity and the quick response shown by regional and international countries and organization,” she stated. “This storm completely changed the landscape and economic outlook of Dominica in a few short hours and revealed starkly the vulnerabilities faced by us as a small island developing state.”

She continued, “It underscores the need for us to have special measures and special organizations mandated to address issues peculiar to us.”

SIDS DOCK is an initiative among member countries of the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) to help SIDS transform their energy sectors and address adaptation to climate change.

Roosevelt Skerrit, It would appear that a group of people donated an amount of ten (US$10,000.00) dollars; ($EC26,900) dollars to help relieve the suffering of the poor in Dominica; and have stated the money given to your minister Francine cannot be accounted for!

Under such circumstances you are duty bound to investigate the whereabouts of the money, if it is found out Francine misappropriated, or used the money for her personal use, it is mandatory that you fire her instantly!

If you fail to fire her you will prove yourself to be all we think you are, corrupt, and evil! Secondly you will prove that you are truly a Mountain Chicken Crapo, who’s mentality is on the same level as that of a Mountain Chicken!

Stop payment on the cheque where it is supposed to be drawn, so when she cash it from whatever in Dominica, when the bank or any other institution in Dominica try to collect from the bank of origin, it will be returned to Dominica, where she will have to repay that which she received from the Dominica institution.

That is the way to embraces, and expose her!

Dear Ms. Baron, the majority for Dominicans don’t even know anything about SIDS, and care even less but they know that they have basic needs at home right now, like fresh water, adequate shelter, nourishment, health care and jobs, jobs, jobs! All that expensive travel and pontificating at the U.N, , (which I thought was Vince Henderson’s job anyway), is doing nothing for us on the ground here. You all need to come down to earth my lady.

You need to channel your efforts into the industrialization of Dominica, so that there will be employment, from which taxes can be collected, preventing government in the future from operating around bankruptcy.

Right your county is bankrupt, empty treasury, if the hurricane did not come we would never know the true state of our economy, Skerrit could not hide from the truth and continue to lie! You had better shut up, and concentrate on the development of Dominica, you all are too bloody backward; who the hell cares what you are committed to!

Anyone committed to the UN is committed to slavery and the abolishment of the human race. She is just a puppet for the NWO.
