Cheryl Fernandez Versini is a no-show at husband Jean-Bernard's star-studded birthday bash

The French restaurateur marked his 34th birthday with a celebrity filled bash on Friday night, but his wife of one year was nowhere to be seen.

Her inner circle were certainly represented though with her BFFs Kimblerey Walsh and Justin Scott and Martin Humes both attending.

Cheryl's mother Joan was also in attendance and the pair were pictured laughing together at Cirque Le Sior with Jean Bernard sharing a photo on Instagram, saying: "My mother in law is as cool as a Rolling Stone."

An insider told Mail Online: "There was a birthday dinner on Friday night held for JB where friends and family attended. JB then went on to a club with his boys. Others, including Cheryl went home."

The former Girls Aloud singer (32) is currently appearing on the latest series of The X Factor, alongside Simon Cowelll, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw and has sparked a 'skinny shaming' debate as many have commented on her super slim frame.

In a recent Twitter post, Cheryl said that no one has any idea "what she's been through".
