Google has announced the much-anticipated Nexus 5X along with the larger version Nexus 6P at an event in San Francisco.

Google and LG came up with the Nexus 5, two years ago, now both companies have came up with the updated version of Nexus smartphone. The latest Nexus 5X comes with new features and notably the Android Marshmallow and fingerprint sensor.

The Nexus 5X measures 146.9x72.6x7.9 mm and weights at 136 grams. It features a plastic build and is available in three colours: white, black and mint-blue-aqua. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the rear. While, the OnePlus 2 measures 151.8x74.9x9.9 mm and weights 175 grams. The OnePlus offers a premium look to its flagship smartphone. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the home button.

The Nexus 5X sports a 5.2 inch display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels that translates to 424 ppi pixel density. The display features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and oleophobic coating. While, the OnePlus 2 sports 5.5 inch LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels that translates to 401ppi pixel density and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

The new Nexus 5X is powered by Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 CPU at clock speed combined with Quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53 and dual-core 1.82 GHz Cortex-A57. It has a Adreno 418 graphic processing unit.

The OnePlus 2 is powered by Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 CUP at clock speed of Quad-core 1.56 GHz Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 1.82 GHz Cortex-A57 and has Adreno 430 GPU.

The powerful processor of Nexus 5X is paired with 2GB of RAM, while the OnePlus 2 offers 3/4GB of RAM.

The Nexus 5X runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, where users can enjoy the stock Android experience. While, the OnePlus 2 runs on its own Oxygen 2.1 UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

The Nexus 5X is available in two storage models: 16/32 GB and there is no microSD card slot to expand memory. On the other hand, the OnePlus 2 also comes with 16GB and 64GB storage option with no card slot to expand memory.

Both smartphones have a built-in battery, which means battery cannot be user replaceable. The Nexus 5X is packed with 2700mAh battery, on the other hand, the OnePlus 2 is packed with 3300mAh battery.

The Nexus 5X will be available in India sometime in this month, the Google Store has listed the smartphone for Rs. 31,999. While, the OnePlus 2 is available exclusively on Amazon India for Rs. 24,999.
