“I have one more telephone number.’’
Mohammad Naveed, the Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist who was captured alive after the terror attack on a BSF convoy in Udhampur, is desperate to talk to his family in Pakistan.
On Wednesday, Naveed gave another telephone number of a friend even as the NIA ,in reply to a query by Special Judge for NIA cases Y P Kotwal, submitted that they could not get him talk to his parents as all telephone numbers given by him were not operational.
“03137367131,” Naveed told the accompanying NIA officials. The number, Naveed claimed, belonged to his friend Ali, a resident of Salimi Chowki, Choti Unasi, Faislabad.
Officials, however, said whether Naveed is able to talk to his parents or not, his repeated disclosure of telephone numbers is a reconfirmation of the admission before the court that he was sent from across the border.
