Sandeep Marwah, festival president and president of Marwah Studios, said that in the 48 events organized over three days, the festival saw a footfall of 24,500, with participation from India and abroad.
The guests included MPs Balbeer Punk and Dr Swami Sakshi Maharaj, MLA Vimla Batham and MoS for HRD Ram Shankar Katheria.
The festival saw art and cultural performances by a collaboration from Pakistan which included Bhajan Sapoori on the santoor, Rajendra Prasana on the flute and Shabir Hussain on vocals, as well as a Sufi rock band. There was also a fashion show based on Shakespeare and Rabindranath Tagore’s stories. Seminars, talks, interactions, kavi sammelan and workshops by Chitra Mudgal, Tofail Chaturvedi, Dr Aziz Burney, Astri Ghosh, Anil Varma, Devik Ramesh and Muzffar Hussain were the other interesting sessions held.
