Though Salman Khan announced that Jacqueline Fernandez will not be a part of "Kick 2", the actress hopes to have a special appearance or an item song in the sequel.

Jacqueline stated that "Kick" was the biggest movie of her career and not being in "Kick 2" is saddening for her. "For me, Kick was the biggest movie of my career. It changed my life. It's sad that I won't be in Kick 2. But hopefully, I will be able to do a special appearance or an item number in Kick 2," said Jacqueline in an interview with Filmfare.

The actress was not even aware of the making of the "Kick" sequel. "I was not aware that 'Kick 2' was being made. So, it was news to me when Salman announced it on the stage of an award function. And I was in the audience. I am pretty sure there must have been no scope of continuing my character. They would probably need a fresh face," added the Sri Lankan actress.

Although, Salman clearly stated at the event then that Jacqueline has been "kicked out of Kick 2", there was a buzz that Jacqueline will have a special appearance in the sequel

Directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, "Kick" featured Randeep Hooda, apart from Salman and Jacqueline. While, "Kick 2" will reportedly present Salman in double roles, there has not been any confirmed report on the cast of the sequel and the superstar's heroine.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline also talked about her alleged link up with Arjun Kapoor, which she claims to be mere rumours. "I am not dating him. Arjun has been my one of earliest friends along with Sonam Kapoor. I didn't know anyone then. Arjun being Sonam's cousin, we have grown to be good friends. He is an intelligent and hardworking guy. We respect each other's friendship. It's funny how we got linked up," said Jacqueline when asked about her supposed affair with Arjun Kapoor.
