Registration for MCL coach is now live

The Masters Champions League (MCL) governing council on Tuesday announced that the registration process for individuals interested in becoming coaches and in taking up allied positions during the tournament is now live.
Over three months after the tournament was launched at the Burj Al Arab Hotel, in the presence of legends like Adam Gilchrist and Brian Lara, the MCL unveiled the third stage of the process. In all 260 players had expressed interested in participating in the MCL as a player and had registered themselves for an auction scheduled to be held in October.
A similar procedure will be followed for registering coaches and support staff via the website http://www.mcl2020.com. Alternately, those affiliated to the Federation of International Cricketers Association (FICA) will be emailed forms for them to enrol for the positions. The positions include: head coach, batting coach, bowling coach, fielding coach, physio, trainer and masseur.

Zarah Shah, CEO, MCL said: "This is an exciting phase of the tournament because there are a number of opportunities for interested coaches to be part of this event. I would like to thank the members of the governing council for recommending an excellent process to source candidates. The planning and preparation for the tournament is on in full swing, with the pace picking up quite nicely."
The final date for registrations is Oct. 18, 2015.
