"Baahubali -the Beginning" shattered all the records of Rajinikanth's "Endhiran" and Pawan Kalyan's "Attarintiki Daredi" and set several new ones too.
"Puli" is the next big-ticket release from the Southern film industry. Made on budget of Rs 118 crore, the Chimbu Deven directed fantasy-adventure film features Vijay in a dual role alongside an ensemble cast of Vijay, Sudeep, Sridevi, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani, Prabhu and Nandita Swetha.

"Baahubali -the Beginning" was premiered in over 118 cinema halls across the USA a day before its release. The movie collected $1,010,550 from the paid preview show and beat the record of Aamir Khan's "PK".

"Baahubali - the Beginning" grossed around Rs 75 crore at the worldwide box office on the first day. Its first day net collection and distributors' share stand at Rs 62 crore and Rs 45 crore respectively in the global market. It has become the biggest opening south Indian movie beating the records of "Endhiran".
4. Fastest Rs 100 crore grosser Indian movie
"Baahubali - the Beginning" grossed Rs 135 crore at the worldwide box office in two days and its net collection stands at Rs 112 crore in the global market. It became the fastest Rs 100 crore grosser Indian movie in the global market.
5. Highest grossing south Indian film in opening weekend in worldwide market
The SS Rajamouli-directed movie has grossed approximately ₹197 crore (Rs 169 crore nett) at the global box office in its opening weekend.
6. Highest grossing south Indian film in opening weekend overseas
The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer collected $4.65 million (₹29.07 crore) at the international box office in the first weekend and became the second highest grossing Indian movie in the international markets after Aamir Khan's "PK".

"Baahubali - the Beginning" has erased the first weekend record of "PK" at the USA box office with a big margin. While the Aamir Khan starrer raked in $3,088,584 (Rs 19.53 crores) from 272 screens in three days, the Rajamouli-directed period drama collected $4,423,339 (Rs 28.07 crore) from 236 cinema halls at the USA box office in the first weekend.

"Baahubali - the Beginning" grossed Rs 255 crore (US$40 million) at the worldwide box office in the first week and its nett collection stands at Rs 185.69 crore. It has almost beaten the life-time record of "Endhiran" in just seven days.

"Baahubali - the Beginning" is estimated to have collected approximately Rs 502 crore gross at the worldwide box office in 24 days and its nett collection stands at Rs 370 crore.

"Baahubali - the Beginning" has grossed over Rs 600 crore at the global box office so far and is still running in many theatres around the world. "Baahubali - the Beginning" has grossed $7,514,643 (Rs 48.28 crore) at the USA box office and these numbers also include the collection of its Hindi ($4,87,292/Rs 3.20 crore) and Tamil versions ($567,227 / Rs 3.63 crore).
