Colombo School of Arts offers direct admission to four Salford University degrees

Shaleeka Jayalath, Principal, Colombo School of Arts (CSA) – the international school affiliated to Imperial Institute of Higher Education (IIHE) in Colombo, and Dr. Thilaka Weerakoon, Director Education at IIHE, said that they are pleased to announce that students who take their London A-Levels at CSA will have direct admission to four Salford Degrees. Additionally a concession on tuition fees will be granted. “What’s more”, Jayalath added, “students will also have the opportunity to study at Salford in their third year if they wish to.”

The Salford Degree programs include B.Sc (Hons) Business and Management; B.Sc (Hons) Business and Information Technology; B.Sc (Hons) Accounting and Finance and B.Sc (Hons) Business and Tourism Management.

In November 2014 Salford University Business School won the Business School of Year title at the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards in recognition of the university supporting small and medium size businesses and offering students innovative industry experiences. Salford has been praised for the way the school prioritises its ‘real-world’ impact with businesses. THE Awards are the leading awards showcasing excellence in the UK higher education sector. A distinct advantage of the Salford University programs is that students study a common first year before embarking on the specialisation. This gives students who are still uncertain of the choice of specialisation to make a more informed decision through experiencing course modules and through consultation with student counsellors.
